Richard has named many aircraft after his friends and family. 'Freddie' was named after Freddie Laker, in appreciation of the support he showed when Richard was starting Virgin Atlantic.
Another plane, 'Eve' is named after his entrepreneurial mother, whom he cites as a constant inspiration.
Dubbed by the media as the 'Barnum of Business', after the famous circus promoter PT Barnum.
